When We All Get To Heaven

"Sing the wondrous love of Jesus,

sing his mercy and his grace;

in the mansions bright and blessed

he'll prepare for us a place."

Don't you just love being in church and hear the song leader say, "let's all stand and turn to page (whatever page it is in your hymnal) and sing When We All Get To Heaven" ? Well, maybe today, we hear the organist begin to play, we recognize the song, we look to the screen and begin to sing. Actually, I don't think most of us need the screen or the hymnal. We have heard and sung this amazing old hymn all our lives.

"When We All Get To Heaven" was written in 1898 by Eliza E. Hewitt. It has been published in over 270 hymnals. It's another one of those beautiful old hymns that has stood the test of time.

"When we all get to heaven,

what a day of rejoicing that will be!

When we all see Jesus

we'll sing and shout the victory."

"Oh, I Want To See Him, look upon His face"!!!! And when I see Him, I will sing and shout the victory. While Brother Henry may have got a little head start on me, I will catch up with him one day and we will run the streets of gold together, rejoicing for all eternity.

"Let us then be true and faithful, trusting, serving every day; just one glimpse of Him in glory will the toils of life repay."

What a sweet promise and an amazing way to wake up this morning! We serve an amazing God!!! I have so much to be thankful for! I am so thankful that as sun is rising, I have another day and opportunity to serve our Lord.

I hope you will enjoy hearing this amazing song and I pray your day will be amazing also!
