“But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” Galatians 6:14
I pray you will be blessed hearing this beautiful old hymn this morning. It was written by Isaac Watts and first published in 1707. He may have been considered a "contemporary" songwriter as his more than 600 hymns were thought of as being innovative to the old style of hymns of the English Church. I wonder how many of the great new "contemporary" songs of today will "stand the test of time" and become wonderful old hymns 300 years from now.
“Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.” Psalms 47:6
I pray you will have an amazing Monday and a great week!
