Last night, we had a sweet Prayer Meeting and Bible Study. Brother Noah shared his personal testimony as he opened our service and he discussed witnessing and sharing the message of Salvation with others. I know for me and I suspect for others in attendance or listening on Facebook, could not help but think back to the time we made the most important decision of our lives. There's a lot of things that I have forgot over my 67 years, but I will never forget that moment, I asked Jesus to be my Savior.
"Once my soul was astray from the heavenly way,
And was wretched and vile as could be;
But my Savior in love gave me peace from above,
When He reached down His hand for me."
I so don't deserve His Love and His hand that has always been there reaching down for me. I'm so grateful for His grace and mercy! I have failed Him so many times, yet He has never failed me.
"How my heart does rejoice when I hear His sweet voice In the tempest—to Him I then flee, There to lean on His arm, safe, secure from all harm, Since He reached down His hand for me."
I woke early this morning and what a joy to wake to this old song that I have loved hearing my entire life.
"When my Savior reached down for me,
When my Savior reached down for me;
I was lost and undone, without God or His Son,
When my Savior reached down for me."
I pray if you have not accepted Christ as your Savior you will do so today and experience the joy of His Love for you!
