Anyone who knows me or reads my blog, knows how much I love waking early, watching the night turn to day. I love seeing the sunrise. I love seeing the birds begin to fly around and eat at the feeders. I love planting and watching the seeds begin to grow and see the flowers appear. It started yesterday as rainy day but by lunch the sun was shining until late in the afternoon when we had a strong but very brief thunderstorm. But we also had one of the most beautiful rainbows you have ever seen. There's not too much about this time of year I don't enjoy, well perhaps except the storms, pollen and weeds. LOL As much as I enjoy this world's beauty, I can't start to imagine "How Beautiful Heaven Must Be".
Just this week, I have had a couple of more dear friends who are now enjoying the beauty and joy of Heaven and seeing their precious Savior. They knew quite well, "This World Is Not My Home" and today they are experiencing first hand their new home. "What A Day That Will Be"!
"This World Is Not My Home" is another one of those old songs I remember hearing so many times in my younger years. Not so much lately. It has been sung and recorded by many but it seems that the country and bluegrass gospel groups really enjoyed singing it. I found an older Gaither video that I hope you will enjoy hearing today.
I pray you will have a blessed Sunday!
