The Wonder Of It All

Anyone who reads my morning messages knows how much I love morning and see the dark turn to day. This morning as the sun begins to rise, I can see the light shining through a fall morning fog. But I love sunsets as well. To see the day come to an end, the evening sun often creating a beautiful array of colors as it sets. I love the flowers in the spring as they burst into bloom and provide us with beauty all season long. And then as we go into fall, the colors change and we still have flowers and the trees that give us a totally different view. I love to watch the birds, the insects, the lizards and all (not snakes) that live around us and bring joy as they go about their lives without a care in the world it would appear. I love to sit on my front porch and listen to the soft, sweet, perfect music my wind chimes creates as the breeze blows. There is so much, very simple things, God has given us to enjoy. What a wonderful escape from the distractions of the world. But in all the glorious things that gives us great joy in the simple moments of our lives is one thing that supersedes it all, God loves us!

What a wonderful song to wake to this morning! "But the wonder of wonders that thrills my soul, is the wonder that God loves me!"
