We often have great days! The weather is awesome, everything goes just right and we go to bed that night with a smile. And then there are those days when it rains or maybe even storms, things around us are just not right, and we end our day with a great deal of stress hoping for a better day tomorrow. It seems in 2020, many would say they have had a lot more days that would be considered not perfect than days called perfect.
This old hymn reminds us that we are on a journey, to a land of gladness, where there is no sadness ... it's a land of perfect day! This is another one of those great church songs so often sang during services and revival meetings. It always seemed the congregation sang with such heartfelt joy and hope. It was written in 1935 by William M. Ramsey.
