Yesterday we said our final earthly good byes to a very sweet soul. Always a difficult time, but made so much easier to know her battles are over and she is home with her Lord and Savior. What a beautiful day of rejoicing in a life well lived. Our loss was Heaven's gain. Thank you Brittany for the example you gave us in living life and giving God the Glory in all things even in the time He calls us home.
Last night as I prepared for bed, I enjoyed reflecting on the day, the sights, the thoughts, the testimonies, the memories. I believe Brittany was welcomed home with those words we all hope to hear, "Well done My good and faithful servant". I prayed if I would be fortunate enough to wake one more time with a morning song, that God would wake me with one that would be representative of yesterday and that points to where Brittany found her hope and joy. I was not disappointed.
