"That day is coming Before you know it That day is coming It's almost here We shall behold Him In all His glory That day is coming He shall appear."
Now can you think of a better thought to start your Friday? For so many years, we talked about it, sang about it and looked forward to it. The very first song, I sang before a congregation about 50 years ago was "Jesus Is Coming Soon". A few weeks ago, I was privileged to sing it again with Rick, Sue and Pat. And "That Day Is Coming"!
I heard this song sometime ago and don't know much about it except I like it. I love to hear The Collingsworth Family sing and I love the upbeat, happy thoughts shared through this song. Over the years, we have gone through good times and some difficult ones. This year has been especially trying for many. But as I look back over the years, I have to think, how could I not trust God? He has brought me through so much. He has given me so much. Yet, the best is yet to come!
I hear on the 21st of this month, we will be able to look to the heavens and see what is being called the Star of Bethlehem. I understand this is when Jupiter and Saturn will be aligned and will form what will appear as the brightest star in the sky. As I have read, it has been hundreds of years since it has been this close to earth. Could it be, that in this year of 2020, God is sharing with us the same "star" that the directed the wise men to the stable where Jesus was born?
But as I said previously, the best is yet to come! "That day is coming, we shall behold Him in all His glory"! And while I enjoy this life and the joys and opportunities God gives me, I look forward to seeing Jesus in all His glory! Now that's something to be excited about!
I pray you will be blessed as you listen to "That Day Is Coming". I hope you will have a fantastic Friday!
