Today we remember the horrendous tragedy that struck our Country 20 years ago. It is a day that we will never forget. We remember where we were when the news broke. It's hard not to recall our fist reactions and then our feelings as the events of the day unfolded. One of the things that struck me most that day as we realized what happened was the love, the togetherness, the patriotism that we all felt and displayed to one another. I wish those same feelings that existed for the days and weeks that followed our tragedy existed today, 20 years later.
The one thing that has not changed is that God loved us before the attack, He loved us then, He loves us now and He will love us forever. This morning's song is a reminder of how wonderful it is for us to be able to share God's Love with others. If there has ever been a time God's Love needs to be shared it is today.
I know this week, there have been many on a mission to go door to door to let their neighbors know they are loved by us and more importantly God. Tomorrow, we will go in groups to share God's Love in the Church's neighborhood. Please pray for the individuals involved and the homes that will be contacted.
It was fun waking to "Telling The World About His Love" this morning. It's an old song that I will always remember groups enjoyed singing as it is a happy song. So as we remember the sad events that happened 20 years ago, let this happy song touch your heart and I pray you will be blessed!
I pray you will have a special Saturday!
