Since Jesus Passed By

Last week we had a tragic event occur in my family. A 36 year old, Godly man, a loving husband, and an awesome dad was taken home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My youngest niece and her precious children are left with the memory of his love for them. We often find it difficult to understand these situations and questions enter our minds. How someone so young, with what we think is their entire life ahead of them are taken from us so soon. But I believe God has a purpose. He has a perfect plan for all of us for our lives. How sweet it is to know that we can rejoice in knowing, Jeremy knew his Savior and we find comfort and peace in knowing this.

This weekend, I was out of town for his services and to say our final earthly good byes. But God continued to bless me with a wake up song each day. I hope you don't mind if I "catch up".

On Saturday morning, I woke to an old hymn, "The Life-Boat". I'm going to post a link to the Children Of Promise singing this great old song. I could have selected many others singing this song but I wanted to post "Children Of Promise" as they are one of my cousins' favorite groups. (In fact, she messaged me last night and said she was on her way to see them.) I hope you will enjoy hearing them also.

Yesterday morning, I woke to another great old song. "There'll Be Shouting". It's a song that when I hear it, I usually think of the Cathedral Quartet. I'm not sure not sure why, as many others have sung it. Perhaps it's one of my favorite versions because of George Younce. I hope you will enjoy hearing it also.

And this morning, I woke to another grand old song, "Since Jesus Passed By". Oh what a difference since Jesus passed by! I hope you will enjoy listening to the words and hearing Ernie Haase and Signature Sound today.

I pray you will have an amazing Monday!
