The Good Lord certainly knew a perfect song for me to wake too this morning! My goodness, there is always so much going on to make our smiles disappear. We've gone though a period of sickness and death over the past year like I have never seen. And while it's better, we still are so aware of it and while most have been vaccinated it's still on our minds. Today, I know of three people scheduled for hospital procedures; a pacemaker, a heart cath and a hip replacement. Another church member has passed and her funeral is today. We turn on the news and we see the crisis at our border, we're on the edge of war in the middle east and with all that, people are beginning to panic as a result of gas shortages and increasing prices. I need to stop or I might get depressed myself.
In these difficult days, let us all remember, God is good. We may not understand but He said, He would never leave us or forsake us. We must be strong and of good courage. The "world" needs us to show God's love through us and our lives and our smiles. In times like this, we all need each other, to lift one another up with our smiles, kindness and most of all prayers.
I pray today, we all can "Show A Little Bit Of Love And Kindness" as we go about our daily routines and maybe we can make a difference in the life of someone who may desperate for our smiles. I hope you will enjoy the Collingsworth Family today!
