Overwhelming Joy

It has been quite some time since I have woke so early in the morning to a song and so excited to share my thoughts. Nehemiah 8:10 says, "for the joy of the Lord is your strength". Isn't it amazing to feel that joy and I know for me it is overwhelming joy so many times. I have overwhelming joy, I am feeling so blessed, I have overwhelming joy, I confess! So often, I am filled to over flowing! It's hard for me to tell the story without feeling this joy! And again, most often, that joy overflows. God has been so good to me! And though I have failed Him so many times, He has never failed me!

I was just thinking about Brother Gary's message last Sunday. During the most difficult storms in my life, the winds were strong, the waves were rocking, but my Lord was right there in the boat with me. He calmed the winds, the seas, the storm and He was still going to be sure I reached the intended destination. He is with you today and He wants you to feel His power. He wants to be your strength and your "Overwhelming Joy".

A couple of nights ago, after a busy day, I sat in my chair and looked at my phone. To my joy, one of the first things I saw was a livestream of an Inspiration service. That alone was good but it was a "reunion concert" and I was able to enjoy seeing and hearing (actually the livestream sound was not that good) some of the guys who have been part of this great ministry over the past 57 years. So many songs, so many memories and they sang "Overwhelming Joy".

I hope you will feel "Overwhelming Joy" listening to The Inspirations from the NQC in 2004 today!

I pray you will have a blessed Saturday!
