Yesterday morning it was a cold, rainy, and dreary and I had an early morning dentist appointment. I have always enjoyed going to the dentist but the weather yesterday morning, well it was not exactly ideal for me. The two elements of wet and cold are simply just two of the things God gives us that are not my favorites.
After sitting in the waiting area a few minutes, the assistant came and led me to my room. I sat in the chair and directly in front of me was the view you see in the picture (well kind of - I actually went home and came back with my camera. I wanted to capture the view that I enjoyed while I was being worked on. But by the time I got back, the fog had lifted, the daylight had changed but I can still see the previous look in my mind). The view was of this beautiful hillside, the fall foliage, the rain, clouds and fog partially covering this amazing perspective. The song I posted a few days ago, came to my mind, "This Is My Father's World". I'm so thankful, I can worship my God and His creation even while I'm sitting in the dentist chair.
I love God and the way He works. While yesterday was a chilly, dreary, rainy day that I really don't enjoy, it is His creation. I was so blessed to open my eyes, get ready and go to the dentist. So many are not that fortunate. And this morning, is another reminder as I woke to "Majesty". From yesterday, worshipping God, His Creation and this morning worshipping God's love for us giving us Jesus, who became the sacrifice for our sins.
Let's worship Him today!
"Majesty, worship His majesty Unto Jesus be all glory, honor, and praise Majesty, kingdom authority Flow from His throne, unto His own, His anthem raise
So exalt, lift up on high the name of Jesus Magnify, come glorify Christ Jesus, the King
Majesty, worship His majesty Jesus who died, now glorified, King of all kings So exalt, lift up on high the name of Jesus Magnify, come glorify Christ Jesus, the King
Majesty, worship His majesty Jesus who died, now glorified, King of all kings Jesus who died, now glorified, King of all kings."
I pray your Friday will be blessed!!!
