Led By The Master's Hand

Yesterday was a beautiful day to attend morning church services. Even with the masks, social distancing and the "strangeness" of the "new" environment, I still had rather be in my church and with my church family singing, praying, and worshiping our Lord than anywhere else.

During the service, Karen sang one of my favorite songs, "His Grace Is Sufficient For Me". "His Grace Is Sufficient For Me" was written by one of my favorite, song writers, Mosie Lister. It was so moving, sitting there listening to Karen sing this song without music. It was just Karen, her beautiful voice and the amazing words of this incredible song. I listened to the FB live recording several times yesterday after I got home. Karen is such a blessing always, but yesterday was just extra special for me.

I have woke to Mr. Lister's songs on several occasions and I have mentioned him in several previous posts. This morning it was a joy to wake up to another one of his songs. "Led By The Master's Hand" has been sung and recorded by many but this morning, I could hear the incredible George Younce singing. I overuse the word favorite (and I probably have in this post) but I have lots of favorites. George made bass/lead singing fun and heartfelt whenever he had the chance. He was known as a good man and a good friend to every one he met, always wanting to help and bring the world a smile each day. I think you will see this in the video of him singing "Led By The Master's Hand" at one of the Gaither singings. I pray you will enjoy hearing this awesome song this morning!

Happy Monday!
