It's no secret, I love the older songs we sang in church when I was younger (much younger)! I still enjoy them today. "It's A Grand And Glorious Feeling" is one of those songs. As I recall it was written in the early 1940's by Albert E. Brumley. He was the writer of so many songs I remember being sung in great voice during church services, revival meetings and singings.
I was talking with a good friend the other day and he told me they were visiting a church and they still sing from the Church Hymnal and the songs picked as the spirit moves. I love singing from a hymnal. I don't read music but I can see the "extra parts". On the screens, the words to just the melody are written. That's good, because these old eyes can see the words of the song on the screen better than the "fine" print of a hymnal. LOL But I often miss the old days of the congregation singing all the parts. But I'm not complaining, just reminiscing. I'm glad to just be able to sing and hear others lifting their voice in song.
I hope you will enjoy hearing "It's A Grand And Glorious Feeling" today. I pray as one of the lines in the song says it will make your pathway brighter as on you plod! "It Is A Grand And Glorious Feeling" just to be walking and to be talking with my KIng!
I pray you will have a great day!
