It Is Well With My Soul

It has been rare since I started this blog to wake up to a song I had been woken by previously, In fact only one comes to mind but it may have happened another time or two. This morning's song, I could wake up too every day and I would not mind. If you would like, you can go back to my December 26th post and read my thoughts that morning.

If you read the previous post, you will see that I love the story behind the song. I love remembering the services with Brother Don when it was sang. I believe, Brother Russ, led a Wednesday prayer service with this hymn just a week or two before we had to abandon our services for the virus. I mentioned, last Thursday night, I listened online as Kim Collingsworth played hymns. It was one of the last ones she played and it was beautiful.

Every morning, every evening (and here lately most of the day LOL) I sit in my chair, and when I look up from my computer or the TV, I see a sign that says, "it is well WITH MY SOUL" Two of my longest and sweetest friends brought this sign to me as a surprise when they came to be with me at church on remembering the 2nd year I had went in the hospital. I love my sign, I love my friends (all my friends), I love this sign, but more than all that I love being able to tell you that " It Is Well With My Soul"!

I woke up to hearing The Isaacs singing this beautiful hymn this morning so I will post this link even though there are so many amazing versions on You Tube. I hope you will enjoy and pray you will have an incredible Sunday!
