In 1978, The Inspirations released an album entitled "Looking For You" that I played over and over again. Especially the song, "I'm Bound For That City". Now, this is not the wonderful old hymn, I woke to a few morning ago. There were 12 songs on this recording and I loved each one but "I'm Bound For That City" was one that I played so many times, I think that black vinyl almost turned white. I would put it on, play it and sing with it and play it again and sing some more. It is a song The Inspirations continued to use in their services over the years and they still sing it today!
Yesterday, I heard one of my favorite preachers is no longer bound for that City but has now entered into the joys of Heaven. I mentioned Brother Don Graham in one of my posts very early when I first started. I have a feeling when he arrived at his Heavenly Home, there were a host of those who have gone before who welcomed him with "I love you Brother Don!" Brother Don was truly a godly man, with a passion for the Gospel and missions and a burden for revival. I loved to hear him preach but what I will never forget is when I was going through a very difficult period in my life, Brother Don and his wife Mrs. Jean's caring , encouragement and prayers. I love you Brother Don!
I pray you will have a blessed Tuesday and will enjoy hearing The Inspirations sing one of my favorites (there I go again) "I'm Bound For That City".
