Last night I was able to do one of the things I enjoy most. I attended an old-fashion gospel concert. I got to hear The Primitives, The Inspirations, The McKamey Legacy, Squire Parsons (1 song) and The Kingsmen. Three and a half hours of singing. It kind of reminded me of those Saturday nights attending the All Night Singings in Atlanta. But instead of being at the Atlanta Auditorium (which is not there anymore anyway), I was enjoying this live concert in my chair. It was good but I sure missed being there in person, with the groups and all the others in attendance. I sure do love gospel music!
Last night The Kingsmen sang one of my favorites they have sung for several years. I don't recall when I first heard them sing it but I love it when they do. It was a joy to wake to it this morning.
"I know, yes I know, I know that I've been born again. I know, yes I know, I know that I've been washed in the blood of the Lamb. No power can erase it, this mark the Lord gave me, I know I'm a child of The King!"
I pray this morning you can say "You Know"!
I hope you have a blessed day!
