I believe this is the first morning I have woke up with a song that was actually on my mind yesterday afternoon. It's not unusual for me to have a song in my heart and mind anytime of the day. This is kind the story of my life, hearing and singing good old songs throughout the day. But again, I think this is the first time, I have woke up with a song I was hearing the previous day.
After my work out yesterday morning (without incident, thank the good Lord), I came home, had lunch and a long nap. When I woke up, I had "I Believe The Answer's On The Way" on my mind. But what I found curious was I had no idea why. This is not a song that I recall hearing sung too often. It's not a song I ever sung, but I was hearing Vestal Goodman singing yesterday afternoon and again this morning. I guess somewhere deep in my old brain, there is a memory of the Goodmans on Sunday morning's Gospel Jubilee or during an all night singing at the Atlanta City Auditorium. Or perhaps, it's a memory from an old Gaither video. But one thing for sure, God must have waned me to hear this song!
As I was thinking about it, I began to realize it really went good with yesterday morning's song, "Living By Faith". I mentioned in my post, how as the prayers were requested Wednesday night the one thing that was obvious was our strong belief that God answers prayers or otherwise why would we even make a request. The words of the song go like this:

Well, you can tell I did not grow up as this being one of my favorite songs. I hardly remembered it. But I am so blessed to be reminded of it and to know the answers to our prayers are already on their way. I hope you will enjoy hearing Vestal sing from one of the old Gaither videos.
