I didn't sleep good last night. Several reasons but the main one was a noisy raccoon on the back deck making himself (or herself) a feast at one of the birdfeeders. I got up to take in some of the action. I must admit, it was somewhat comical, watching that beautiful creature, carefully navigate himself out the hanging pole to reach his goal. But he was successful and it will be off to the store today to buy some more food in the event he is hungry tonight.
I finally went to sleep even if it was only for a couple of hours to wake to a fairly new song I enjoy hearing. "Home Is Sounding Sweeter" is a song written 4 or 5 years ago by a Roland Kesterson. So many times, when I wake to a song, I often wonder why this song? It was the same this morning. But as I was writing the morning message, I learned a precious friend's baby brother went to be with Jesus yesterday. The family is hurting and devastated but can rejoice in knowing they will see him again one day. Yes, "Home Is Sounding Sweeter"!
Please pray for this family.
I hope you will be blessed hearing this wonderful song today!
