His Grace Is Sufficient

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)

Regardless of all the things going on in our lives, the things impacting us, God's grace makes it possible for us to make it! But not just simply to make it, no matter what we encounter, what obstacles we face, during the times of failure, this grace is always more than just adequate. It's always more than we deserve and more than we expect. For by His grace, we are saved. It is a gift from God! His grace brings comfort and peace during our times of sorrow and loss. His grace guides and directs us. His grace never leaves us alone. God's grace provides for all our needs. Thank you Lord, for your marvelous and my underserved grace!

I have always loved to hear this wonderful old song written by Mosie Lister. I don't recall when I first heard it but I believe it was probably by The Statesman or perhaps when Jake Hess started The Imperials. But I also remember a cassette tape of Mosie Lister songs, I listened to over and over again as I traveled over the roads of South Carolina during the years I lived there. But my favorite memory of hearing "His Grace Is Sufficient" was a few Sunday mornings ago, when one of my favorite people and singers at church blessed us with this amazing song.

I have listened to this song on You Tube no telling how many times this morning trying to find the version I would like to post and I can't decide so I'm just going to have to pick one. LOL But listening to old versions, new versions, all versions sure has made for an enjoyable morning!

I hope you will enjoy the selection. Of course, you know I love the old quartets. I pray you will have a blessed Friday!
