I love waking to one of my favorites. I say that often (almost every day, right?) but "He'll Hold My Hand" is one that I love because of the the Hope, the Promise, the Peace, the Comfort the words bring. To think when we have traveled our last mile, He will be there to hold our hand as we pass from this life to the joys of Heaven.
Every day we see all the troubles and trials that surround us. Every day we hear of sickness or the passing of another sweet person. Just yesterday, a dear friend lost his precious mother but what a joy to know, there was her Jesus to hold her hand and escort her safely to Heaven. No more pain, no more suffering, no more of the problems we face here, but only the sweet, secure hand of our Lord holding our hand and taking us to the place He prepared for those of us who have received Him. I think there's something in that thought to shout about even if you're Baptist.
"He'll Hold To My Hand" is an old song, sung and recorded by many but I love when I hear The Inspirations sing it. They have recorded it several times over the years beginning with their second album, "Cool Water" that I believe was recorded in 1966 or 1967. I pray there will be a blessing for you as you listen to the song!
I hope you will have a blessed day and I hope to see you at Prayer meeting tonight!
Amen!!! Love this one!! So thankful He will hold my hand one day!!! Thank you for sharing Gary!
