God Will Take Care Of You

Updated: Jun 12, 2020

It has been rare, but on several occasions since I've started writing about the songs I wake up too, I will wake to one I have previously talked about. "God Will Take Care Of You" is another one of those songs as I wrote a message on March 14th. This was at a time early in the outbreak of Covid19 and there was a lot of discussion and almost panic over what we all were hearing.

This morning as I awoke to "God Will Take Care Of You" for the second time, we are still in a time of unrest. We are all still concerned with the virus and taking precautions regarding it but there are many other issues we are facing in our communities, state and country. Last Sunday, Brother John brought a message of "Taking Steps Of Faith In A World Gone Crazy. Seeking The Blessings Of God". Last night, during our Bible study, the scripture from Acts 17:1-10 was used for us to examine the effects of riots. Yes, as we know, there were riots during the days of Paul. I won't try to "re-teach" or "re-preach" these messages, but isn't it awesome we have The Scriptures to help guide and direct us always but especially in time or trouble or need? Isn't it awesome that "God Will Take Care Of You"?

The question was asked last night, how the past few weeks during this time of the virus and the civil unrest has affected us? Well as for me, besides gaining a few pounds (as someone pointed out last night LOL) I think I have become more aware of all the things around us, life, nature, a greater appreciation of what we have, less concern about what I don't have, and a greater burden for the trouble, distress and pain so many others go through. It has been a time of reflection and I'm glad, "God Will Take Care Of Us".

I hope you will enjoy hearing this beautiful song this morning!
