Everyday With Jesus

A very early doctor's appointment so the blog will be a little late this morning. I look forward to writing about my "wake up" song this morning, "Everyday With Jesus".

____________________________________________________________________________

Finally I get to share some thoughts about the "morning song". First, have you ever went to the doctor and not have to wait? LOL In this morning's case, I was kind of glad because I had more time to think about "Everyday With Jesus", the memories and I had an awesome chorus to hum in my thoughts as I waited.

I remember so well learning and singing this chorus in Sunday School as a very small child. I remember so often other children singing it but even as "grown ups" we have sung it often. I don't recall it lately. As I have mentioned on several occasions, I miss hearing some of the old songs we sang for years, but it seems that now all the newer songs have taken the old songs' place. I think that is ok (well some of the time LOL) but I love the memories of the older songs, choruses and hymns and especially when I wake up with one.

I thought I was going to get by without mentioning the Redback Church Hymnal when I woke up this morning. But turn to page 398 and you will see "Ev'ry Day With Jesus". While I was sitting waiting on the doctor and playing on my phone, look what I found. I had no idea. (I guess now I should edit the title of the song on my post. LOL)

"Every day with Jesus Is sweeter than the day before. Every day with Jesus I love Him more and more. Jesus saves and keeps me, And He's the one I'm waiting for. Every day with Jesus Is sweeter than the day before."

Don't you just love the sweet words and thoughts of this song? I have a feeling if you listen to the link I post, I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of day, it will be a "tune" hard to get off your mind. I hope you will enjoy "Ev'ry Day With Jesus".
