Burdens Are Lifted At Calvary

Here I go again saying, I woke to another one of my "favorite songs". I love this one as it takes me back to when I first stated to sing with the boy's quartet. What a joy to remember the songs we sang as teenagers!

During Bible study last night, Brother Noah said we should expect tribulations in our lives. The last verse in John 16, Jesus says:

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

What comforting words to know that with life's burdens, during difficult times, trying days, temptations, all of the things that may test our Faith, Jesus is very near. He overcame the world, went to Calvary, gave His life and rose again! Yes, our burdens were lifted at Calvary! Hallelujah!

I pray you will be blessed hearing The Collingsworth Family sing "Burdens Are Lifted At Calvary"!

I hope you will have a good and safe Thursday!
