Bill and Gloria Gaither have written so many wonderful songs over the years but none any better and sung more often than "Because He Lives". In the early 1970's, they were going through a difficult period in their lives. After a simple prayer by a close friend, they felt the Holy Spirit move in their lives and they felt the reassurance their future was in God's Hands. Their 3rd child was soon born, The words to this great song, were soon written through the inspiration of the miraculous birth of their baby boy.
"Because He Lives" reminds us of the assurance we have in our Savior, Jesus Christ. Regardless of life's situations, we can face tomorrow, knowing God holds the future and makes life worth living!
